For starters these first unit are for the 4 door only. We are working on the 2 door version ASAP. This is the basic rear.

Options we are working on are Class 3 receiver (bolt to frame and bumper for $100) and Spare Tire Carrier (bolt to frame and weld to bumper for $187). My big questions are, do you like leaving the OEM frame hoop (sticking through the bumper shell) OR should you make the customer cut it off? We have 5 available at $289.95 each.

MY, I've got a 2 door hardtop. Will the new 4 dr bumper fit it as it has the same rear door? Clint

My question would be:  Does the bumper interfere with the oem frame hook as far as limiting the amount of room (making it difficult) to thread a strap through it?

My next question is:  If you eliminated the oem hook is the bumper strong enough to pull from?  IE are you implementing any hooks directly into the bumper?

My opinion would be if you can integrate a strong tow hoop into the bumper (one from each side) it not only would look tough but be functional.  Then the oem could be cut off without a gripe as mine is rusty enough anyway.  :^)  It would really be neat if the some integrated hoops were pinned so one could remove and thread into the loop end of the tow strap.  Obviously I understand price point and ease of assembly may not make that part possible.

Why doesn't the ends of the bumper line up with the fender lines?

Oh yeah, and hurry up with that darn front bumper!   Grin  I postponed buying one of the competitors to see what you do with the front.  The inital photos looked great!  I hope to wheel this summer with my new winch on so I cross my fingers that front bumper project goes somewhere.  I got a '92 2dr softtop thats begging for some action.

Front parts have been ordered for a limited production to see how the supplier can do on following specs. Rear has been totally morphed into the 2nd generation (or 3rd) prototype. Pics coming soon. My web guy is working on the pages for the Sidekick front 4 door bumpers now. Still waiting for a 2 door to show up at the shop for desigining and fitting of brackets.

Not much longer. Finally got my 2 door here. I plan on removing the front bumper soon and designing the brackets for the front frame. Parts are starting to trickle in from my supplier and I am taking names for preorders. The rear 4 door shell should fit the 2 door without to much hassle then I am going to be ordering lots of shells for both 2 and 4 door Kicks/Trackers.

Any pics of a 2 door rear bumper on a Track/Kick with a body lift?  Even pics of a 4 door with body lift would be helpful.

We will have some soon. I think we figured it out. I got a customer with a 3" lift and we are sending him the rear tail ends to place where he wants them. The frame doesn't move on the body lifts so it should work. The front bumpers are designed to mount higher and lower.
