We'll i was wrong.

A friend gave me a bottle of marvel mystery oil.  He said to dumb a little down  my cylinder with low compression, and put  the rest in the oil.   The cylinder with low compression improved, it's still not good, but I don't see blue smoke going up hills now.

I still need to rebuild the motor, but I can at least drive for now without leaving a blue smoke trail going up a hill.  never would have thought would work.

Yesterday I Welded up some cracks around one of the passenger seat bolt holes.  How common are those cracks?

Today i drove over a hill  i used to top at 45mph with the 8v 1.3 in my samurai.     I was still going 60moh with the 1.3 16v.

Putting new rear bearings and seals on my son's rig. Those axles are a bugger to get banged back into place. Pad.

Yes I did. I also found out it is much harder to get them in with the bearings on backward. Time to bust out the cutting disk again.

A neighbor was just arrested by the State PD. He was collecting rain water without a permit. Been doing this for decades. After the water department complained about his lack of water usage ( especially in the desert) the sent code enforcement over and it became a week long battle before he forced everyone off his property at gun point.  Crazy time here in NM. The sad thing is his property is county not city, and has been in his family for generations.
