I was going to wait till tomorrow to start but it was slow and nothing got shipped due to waiting for my vendors parts to arrive so I started.

What I am starting with.

The TT body that I am putting on

The v6 engine going in

Plans are tubed out 4 linked on upside down yota axles, ram assist, Reverse mounted v6 rear Viatara engine with kick and Samurai T-cases. AC, fuel cell mounted under the tapered & sloped down front hood.

I can only work on the Hammer during weekends. Too busy with customer 4x4 orders the rest of the week.

I did finish the engine mounts though. Obviously the zuk axle is out and the yota axle is way far back
when I get around to installing it.

Nope, even after I promised myself not to work on customer stuff on the weekends. Just got to far behind. I have until May 09 to finish and the last few years I usually go to Zukapalooza with a just finished rig, LOL!

Flipped covers and thirds to make up for reverse rotation of rear V-6 engine.

MY- Please excuse my ignorance, about the upside down Yoters. I understand the reasoning, with the backwards engine and all, my concern lies with the stress on the gear teeth. Is this also reversed? Sorry, I'm having a hard time picturing this. I too am gathering parts for a similar build. So far I have F & R Yoter axles, GM 4.3 V6, 4L60 HD tranny, and now I'm lookin' to set up a NP205/205doubler. All underneath a Tracker. Wink

I am going to be on the coast side of the gears but high pinion so I am going to see what break first. My personal project has taken a back seat over the last 3 months as the product orders keep piling up, LOL!

It would help if I closed the shop and turned off the phones. I was supposed to work on it every weekend and that went away after the first weekend I got behind on orders back in September, LOL!
