missing and bucking, 3rd and 4th gear around 3800 rpms - turbo charged

turbocharged and intercooled 1.3 8 valve. 1st and second gear zips to 5000 rpm with no problem, but when i hit 3rd gear the engine starts bucking, missing and backfiring at around 3800 rpms. i have a weber 32/36 carb that i suspect is the problem, everthing else checked out ok. will the harley sidedraft work better then the weber in this application ?

Sorry for the late reply. My site got hijacked by spam ghoulies. Anyways, we have yet to turbo charge a HD setup. I do know that a mikuni has been used with more favorable results on Turbo kits.

MY
