Whoops, embarrassed. I meant transmission  bang :( But, thank you, Phloop. I will check that log, I wouldn't doubt it is one of the problems. Lol, if it looks like sh*t, it probably is :p

Whats that flattened dull looking thing just after the header?

Take that POS part to an exhaust shop and have them make you a pipe to replace that thing. Keep that thing for later when you move to where you may need it. I like cats but not those kinds.

EPA rule violations are federal offenses not State. Removing a catalytic converter is something most shops are not willing to deal with. ZuksOffRoad will not remove a cat on any vehicle that is at our shop. We have had to install exhaust tubing in its place after someone unknown stole it.

I forgot to post my recent progress pictures. With all the parts finally in hand, I did the full exhaust replacement. Compared to the breaks or the massive radiator leak, this was nothing, heh. Oh yeah, the radiator leak. I went ahead and replaced every single bit of tubing on the line (save for what I already had) and discovered that there was an entire part missing, the heater control valve, now known as the sweat my butt off reducer or what the hell is that wire right there's answer(this summer was extra special). Haven't put it in on the line yet, but I plan to. But thankfully, the leak was the old tubes, not anything else.
I need to get the pictures of Roadless Gear's 2in stainless on Zukie, but here are the header ones :) And her fiberglass face lift :p I think she maybe needs an agressive bumper now to match her new growl :D But, that was the tail end of my gofundme donations, so might be a while.

EPA rule violations are federal offenses not State.

I thought there was an eclipse time on that rule as in age of vehicle. As well as where you are in a state under their rules and regulations. Or is it if it had it, it shall always have it? No worries though, I got a big hammer and a long steel rod. Those cat innards don't stand a chance.

When I lived in (near) DC, my Jeep had to get checked every two years. When I moved south west down here in blacksburg, never had to get checked again, and neither has Zukie. Maybe a city smog thing? ::shrug::

Going on week 3 of no issues! Drove 400 miles twice. First time not scrambling to fix something since I got her. Fingers crossed! :D Maybe I can finally save something to start building her up for fun. Drained my friend's donations doing all the fixes :(

But it's fixed so you can't really complain about that. If you can do 400 miles at a time in a sami thats a good thing.

My limit for a Samurai is 50 miles on way after that it’s going on trailer. Good job. The Grand Vitara drove highway speeds 150 miles each way and rock crawled most of Lower Woodpecker on Friday night.

I agree on that MY. One reason I have a stretcher. When the Sami is drivable it rides on it instead of being driven. But then again, the Sami isn't my only means of transportation. Heck, I wouldn't want to go over 50 miles in the sidekick I DD.

Sorry for no updates. With the exhaust replacement, that was the last I was able to gather from my Gofundme after having to also for the breaks. Feeling kind of down about it, I did gather some footage to use, but I just haven't been feeling it. This time of year is pretty hard for me emotionally with all the holidays.

Holidays do something like that to me also.  I bury myself in projects and am grateful for a few hours of no text, fax, email, private messages, CRM alerts, FB notifcications, Instragram pop-ups, walk-ins, or phone activity.

Yeah...I just wish I had a project to do. Well, other than change the oil. Heh.
