I'm running the Celica box with a Saginaw pump and 31's.  Works great.  It feels like it would be fine with bigger tires, but I can't speak from experience on that.

Biggest tires using Toyota Celica steering box or how strong is it.
The reason I ask is I have been running 33 X 1050   just bought some 33x1250  do I need to to get a spare steering  box so far it has working fine

The last time the pump went out   just hard steering not to bad if  you are moving

Maybe a dumb question but if the box or pump  blows out, are you just back to no power steering or do things lock up/ bind?

I know that feeling.

Found out I need a new rack and pinion, outer/inner tie rod end, upper ball joint, and rim for my truck. Ugh! Looks like the Sami is being put further on the back burner.

Anyone have a spare tacoma rim laying around? :)

Any salvage yards you might be able to source one from on the cheap?

Tacoma's at junkyards are difficult to find. I'm researching fitment issues right now. I got one that looked stock and had it rub against my caliper.
