Seat tracks on my '86 tin top
« on: June 13, 2019, 05:11:27 PM »

Okay... I admin I'm not a clever mechanic but this has me feeling like an idiot.   I got a little carried away trying to clean the dust...cough cough... out of the interior and I removed the carpet and tried to take out the driver's and passenger seats.   Slid both ways on the tracks and find that there is something limiting the travel so I can't remove the seat from the track.   Please give me a hint.   I can't see anything to release, press or remove; so what is it before I do something stupid.

Thanks.

Thanks...  I just unbolted the tracks and took the whole thing out.
I probably should have just done that in the first place.
And it's amazing how much dust is everywhere.
