for the super geeky like me (in PDF form)
« on: October 25, 2019, 08:43:36 PM »

Went through some notes and came across this. I used some of this research to build my first swift engine. Thought I'd pull it out and pas it on. Might Help you understand why our little motors are so limited, and yet so bloody brilant thumbs up

Basically talked about runner length and volume in relation to HP and desired operating RPM range for peak power

I understood the part about longer runners moving the hp and torque curve down.   Sounds like the g16 runner might work well with g13 in a samurai.

I have a 1.6 intake on the wife's 1.3 16v. haven't done anymore tuning yet. Was sick this past weekend. But I can say even running rich, I was able to run 75-80 up a grade in 5th gear. Once everything is sorted, I publish final numbers. Then I'm going to experiment with a couple of optional intakes.
