CV grease
« on: September 25, 2020, 05:13:33 PM »

Getting ready to service the front axle  on the Samurai and was thinking about getting a few of the CV grease packets to fill up the joint after cleaning out all the old grease out of joints and knuckles and then re-lube with the CV grease. Has any one used the CV grease  in the knuckles.
 Thanks

I used Valvoline "SynPower" Synthetic Grease.  It's allegedly ok for CV joints and wheel bearings.  Hasn't made joints explode yet, but that's only about 12k miles.  I can't really provided any useful info.
