Oil blowing out of oil cap
« on: February 20, 2020, 11:23:17 AM »

I just finished MY Turbo install and the Suzuki runs great out of the box.  I am getting a good bit of oil blowing out of the oil cap.  Wondering if I should replace the oil cap with another stock one or if I should get something with a vent.  Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Do you have the valve cover vented with a hose to open air?  if you do not you are building way to much pressure up inside the engine and this is gonna cause issues.

I put a 20Ē hose on the valve cover and run it along side the transmission and just let the blow by get out. Catch cans only work if you have little blow by. All engines have the blow by issue but my design doesnít recirculate itís back into the engine as an endless loop of tar and heat.
Stay outta my tree.
And the tree next to my tree and the trees next to that! Or any tree made out of wood for that matter!
