Body mount bushings w/out a car lift?
« on: May 17, 2020, 08:38:52 PM »

Iím considering installing some new body mount bushings but donít have a car lift and would be working with floor jack and stands. Was wondering if anyone here has replaced theirs without a lift and how it went overall. Not sure if I want to attempt this or not so was hoping to get some feedback from anyone here who has. Thanks yall!

I've done it that way and it's not too bad. If available I prefer to use an engine hoist though.

I have a hoist. Iím trying to understand though, are you saying you use it to lift the body from the frame?

Nice. Can you share any details at all on how you did it as well as any gotchas to look out for?
