Hello from Prescott, AZ
« on: December 24, 2020, 03:33:39 PM »

Howdy - I just picked up an Ď86 tin top for towing behind our small motorhome.  It has a new engine but needs a little cosmetic TLC so Iíll be thinking about paint and interior at some point.

Iíve read that the manual calls for flat towing with the T-case in neutral and shifter in 2nd gear, but some folks prefer to disconnect the rear drive shaft instead.  Anyone here have experience with towing that can weigh in?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Zorum.

I have never flat towed but I'm sure someone will stop by  that has some real life experience.

I have never flat towed my Samurai either so I'll be no help. Just wanted to say welcome to ZORum.
