Canned Zuk Toy axle build.

Toy axle build.

Building Toy axles for Canned Zuk. :)

Last night I dissassembled my best spare Toy front axle,

Plan is to get the spring perches and other crap cut off cleaned up and have them up to ZOR this weekend,

Myron is gonna cut and rotate the knuckles and install spring perches in the correct position.
ZOR has a jig for the Toy axles and I have seen at least 4 front toys built with that jig successfully.

Rotated balls and custom made perches. This way gave us a very close to center spring distance. After much discussion amongst Jackson and Dogonmutt the decision was made to really tilt the pinion up even though it is not linked.

Perches are 1/4" and reinforced. 1/2" square U-bolts. Crab. If you can't see it the bolts are mostly hidden and I am trying to decide if I should box the lower plate to totally protect the threads and nuts. IF I box it it would be a bitch to get the washers and nuts on.

Traded the Tre high steer for heim high steer. acquired a  kick box that's drilled and tapped and is known to work.

Digging the arms.  Looks like they're accounting for ackerman angle nicely, most don't.
