Welcome To The Zuks Of Arizona
Zukapalooza 2010
Web Camp Ground

Who are the Zuks of Arizona (ZOA)?

We are a Suzuki based group that formed in the summer of 1999. A few wheelers had the idea to create a local club to allow people with the same interest in Suzuki made vehicles a forum to share ideas and the ability to meet face to face and go four wheeling. We only have two rules to become a member. Rule #1 – You must own a Suzuki base vehicle (Samurai, Sidekick, Tracker, X-90, XL-7, Vitara or Grand Vitara). Rule #2 – You must live in Arizona. You can find us on the web at  www.zuksofarizona.com

What is Zukapalooza?

Zukapalooza is ZOA's yearly statewide club gathering in Cottonwood, Arizona on Memorial Day weekend. It's a long weekend of 4 wheelin', with multiple daily trail rides for the stocker to the buggy, a group dinner gathering with a large vendor-donated raffle but most importantly, it's the place to be to meet great Zuk people and their rigs.

What makes Zukapalooza 2010 special this year?

With the success and popularity that ZP09 garnered within the Suzuki community, the board members of ZuksofArizona decided to make it bigger and better and keep it a National event for the entire Suzuki community. The event details are listed on all the major Suzuki boards (see links below of your favorite club). Check back here at the official Web Camp for the most up to date information.

A few basic thing to note:

  • Driving off highway is, by it's nature, inherently dangerous. You are responsible for your own actions and are the only person that can choose to traverse the trail. Drive within the limits of your abilities and the abilities of your rig.
  • All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver to attend or ride in a vehicle on any scheduled trail ride.
  • Zuks of Arizona and the Zukapalooza sponsors are NOT liable to you, your rig or your passengers before during or after the event.
  • Drinking and driving is not allowed
  • Illegal drug use or possession while at any part of the event will not be tolerated.
  • The driver of the vehicle is responsible for all the passengers in their vehicle
  • No one is allowed on a trail ride unless they have a seat and a seat belt.
  • Parents must have direct and immediate control of their children at all times
  • The dog policy: Last year we allowed dogs at the event and some dog owners behavior was inappropriate leading to many issues of liability in the park that reflected poorly on our entire group. The board members handled each situation on an individual basis and satisfied the Park's requirements to allow dogs once again. However, if you bring a dog you must have the dog on a leash 100% of the time. Any dog related incidents, no matter how minor, will be dealt with and may result in the expulsion of the dog from the event. This year there will ne no warning, FIRST offense is LAST offense. We do request that any dogs traveling with the groups running any of the 4+ rated trails have a seat belt restraint and highly recommend a restraint for all other trails as well. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED OFF LEASH at the pull out locations, the trails or anywhere near group activities. Dog rules for ZP10: - Dogs must be social and non-aggressive toward people and other dogs - Dogs must be leashed at all times while in Dead Horse Ranch State Park - Dogs must be leashed at all times while on a trail ride with the group. NO EXECPTIONS!!! - If you choose to take your dog away from the group to allow time for them to run, you must have them leashed until you are a reasonable distance away from the group and re-leash them at a reasonable distance before returning to the group except at the Park where the dog can not be unleased at any time - Your dog must have a safe place to travel. Unrestrained dogs in the back of a pick up or in an open air vehicle is not safe for them or anyone walking near your vehicle - Owners must have food and lots of water for their animals - Owners must pack out or bury pet poop - Owners must be willing to remove their dogs from the group at any time if requested by the ZP staff This will be the last trial year for dogs at ZP. If things don’t work out this time, as in people aren’t abiding by the rules, they will be asked to leave, and a strict no dog policy will be in place for all future Zukapalooza events. Dog owners, please don’t ruin this for others. Safety is the biggest concern, not just for the attendee’s but also for the dogs themselves. Please use common sense and think of the personal space of others.
  • You are responsible for yourself. This includes, but is not limited to, food, water, spare parts, oil or fluid spills/clean up, trail repairs and first aid supplies
  • It will be hot. Every person in your vehicle will need at least a gallon of drinking water per day, soda is not a substitute for water in the Arizona heat. BRING LOTS OF WATER!!

Additional ZP10 merchandise:

Additional Tee shirts and ZP10 stickers can be purchased at the event. The cost is still to be determined but will be reasonably priced.
