I've had my Samurai since 2008 my buddy bought a tiptop a few months earlier and it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Just this tiny box on huge tires.
Drove it home in a snow storm, heater blowing, radio on, wipers going, lights on. Annnnnnnd the alternator couldn't keep up with the power drain. Stalled at a light. We jumped it and drove it home pretty much dark. Since then it's had a new alternator, 1.6 swap with a ZOR cut down harness, t-case rebuilt, axles rebuilt, welded the front for a "budget locker" ZOR snatch, petrowerks gas tank, longfield birfs, tracker power steering, ZOR front bumper and probably a bunch more I am forgetting.
