Out comes the dash for cleaning all the duct work and heater core.  While it's out I will prep for Raptor Liner on the inside.

Back from paint.  She's not a show winner, but I only wanted a passable 30 footer.  It's actually an accepotible 10 footer...

Doing some disassembly to prep for paint.  Pulling off the flairs and lower rocker trim, I did find some rust that needed to be repaired.  I chose to cut out the rot and replace it with some square tubing that will eventually be tied in to the frame as rock-sliders.

I thought I'd make this thread as a build log showing what I'm doing to my little runabout that I'm building to fit in my toy-hauler camper.

Here is what I'm starting with.  A completely stock '87 rag-top (I did add the wheels and 235/75r15 tires).

Got Questions? / Temperature sensor

First of all thanks in advance I just changed my temperature sensor but I wanna have another one that gives me the actual temperature of the water in the picture I posted that is circled. Does anybody know this thread size and can I put a temperature sensor in there and if so, does anybody have Any ideas on Amazon? That is the best one I'm not looking for digital just the analog again thank you for your help.

It's cheaper for me to do the 16v swap since I got an entire running donor for pretty cheap. If it blows up in the future I'll just rebuild the 1.3. In the mean time I'll just keep looking for cheap 16v engines since the samurai will already be set up for it
