Looking to confirm a VSS question

Hi Everyone

I have acquired a 1.6l 8v from a 1990 Kick. I have done a little research and think that i have determined that there is no VSS required for this motor as its the last of the vacuum advance TBI's before they started using the VSS.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

I'm not sure but I think MY covered that in one of his utoob vids.  Might check there real quick.

1989-1990 efi with vac advance distributor does not have or require a vss vehicle speed sensor in the cluster.
