Try checking Acksfax or what ever he calls it.  He has an online FSM which should have a picture of that.  I don't happen to have any pics.

So when my gear shifter becomes misaligned and my gearing (synchros?) doesn't match up with the lever. when I remove the shifter and attempt to line up the (synchros levers) inside the transmission what should it look like does anyone have a photo of how this should look before I bolt it all back together? I did purchase a new brass thingaboober that the shifting leaver seat in.

I'd like to do this upgrade, is the Astrovan PS box Model 82-00311R?  I've been researching, but there are so many variations, I don't want to buy the wrong one.

Do you have any pictures of a mounted Astro van box you could post up?

My names Nate Spence, I work for the government👎.. as a wildland firefighter in central Utah. I have been thinking of building a samurai for rock crawling the last year or so. I've built a few jeeps and Toyotas and most recently restored a CJ3B. Have not found the right samurai yet; currently having Myron build me some of his hybrid rock crusher axles for whatever samurai I end up with. Welcome to the ZORum from another old timer. I've had my 88 since 95.  It "was" stock when I bought it.  

Hi Everyone

I have acquired a 1.6l 8v from a 1990 Kick. I have done a little research and think that i have determined that there is no VSS required for this motor as its the last of the vacuum advance TBI's before they started using the VSS.

Can anyone confirm this for me?
